The Donations Volunteer will work with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that the Hobart Women's Shelter makes the most of the generosity of our community in providing goods and services to assist women who are experiencing homelessness and /or domestic violence. We envisage the role will take about 8 hours a week and that it may be shared between two volunteers who could work together to ensure coverage of the tasks.

The role includes:

1. Liaising with businesses which host HWS donations boxes 2.Collecting donations boxes and other regular donations 3.Managing the donations storeroom
2. Organising regular events to provide donations to clients e.g. make up or food events
3. Assisting with Christmas and other special donations events

You will be supported in this role by the Volunteer Coordinator and will undertake an Induction Program and will be provided with the appropriate training and resources to undertake the role .
