The program Australian Red Cross is an expert at helping communities prepare for and recover from disasters. However, as a large organisation we are also vulnerable to a range of disruptive risks that require careful planning and management. We are currently focused on lifting our internal business continuity planning and audit function to ensure the organisation can appropriately respond to risks.

The opportunity This role suits someone with a policy or risk management background. This may be someone who is already working in a related field or towards the end of their studies. The successful candidate will be willing to do a variety of tasks of both a project and administrative in nature and can commit to at least 4 hours per week.

The impact As a volunteer for the Procurement team, you will be part of a cross-functional team assisting Red Cross to deliver services to improve the lives of the most vulnerable in society. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.
