MACEDONIAN SPEAKING SOCIAL SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS

Liverpool Volunteer Resource Centre
Logo for Liverpool Volunteer Resource Centre

This Organisation would love some friendly Macedonian speaking Volunteers to visit with people who are frail, aged, isolated or living with a disability. You can help to reduce their social isolation and act as an important link to their community, which in turn enables them to remain living in their home for as long as possible.

Get together for a chat over a cup of tea or coffee, share stories, read a book together or play a game. As a Social Support Volunteer you would be an excellent listener, show a genuine caring interest towards and compassion for those who are vulnerable.

Volunteers are welcomed from all walks of life and share a common goal - enabling the social and emotional wellbeing of communities, families and individuals.

This is a very rewarding and positive role that requires an ongoing commitment to make weekly or fortnightly visits, for at least one year. You would need to be over 18 years of age and hold a current drivers licence.

Play an important role in improving the quality of life for another person through ongoing friendship and companionship. If you would like to join our dedicated and friendly team of Volunteers, we would love to hear from you!

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
