Take 3’s vision is to reduce plastic pollution globally and connect people to the planet. Take 3 believe in simple actions that address complex problems.

Our call to action is to simply Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or anywhere. Through education that inspires participation and global campaigns, Take 3 are leading a global movement.

The Volunteer Opportunity

Take 3 have partnered with Mosman Public School and are the preferred charity for the ‘Mini Mos’ marathon to be held on 16th June 2019.

We are looking for a volunteer project manager – corporate to target local businesses in the area and support Take 3’s Head of Education.

Introducing Take 3 and the Mini Mos event to increase local business support, donations and entry.

The Project requires a maximum commitment of 7-14 hours per week from 20th April to 20th June 2019. You would also need to be available to attend the event on Sunday 16th June as the contact for local businesses.

Key Result Areas

• Number of local business engaged – Corporate Challenge
• Increased end of financial year fundraising $ from corporates
• Educated 100 local businesses about Take 3 and Mini Mos

General Responsibilities

• Develop content, collateral and communications that will entice local businesses to support Take 3 for the Sea via the Mini Mos event.
• Develop database of local businesses in the Mosman area.
• Contact businesses by phone, email or in person to introduce Take 3 and the Mini Mos opportunities.
• Liaise with Take 3 Mini Mos Project Manager & Head of Education.
• Report fortnightly to Head of Education on engagement.
• Liaise with Mini Mos project team as required
• Promotion of Take 3 for the Sea Selection Criteria
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, negotiation and influencing capabilities
• Experience working with Corporates and NFP community
• Demonstrated track record of enthusiasm, service-orientation, motivation, positivity, and initiative
• Strong business and commercial acumen and
• Business development and project management skills.
