Pet Therapy - Our volunteers will be tending to the chickens used in our Peter Therapy engaging our residents with the chickens both one-on-one, and also in a group situation, including the following: Attend to the care of the chickens checking water and feed Engage with residents on a one on one basis with pet therapy walks to the chicken coup. Supporting residents on a one on one basis to collect the eggs. Engaging with residents on a one on one basis and in small group activities in Pet therapy for residents to hold or pet the chickens Supporting hand washing before and after chicken handling with residents
