The wonderful op shop in Bellambi is becoming part of the Green Connect family from April 2019 and we are keen to establish a strong online presence to engage the community.

Responsibilities of this role are:

• Manage social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook) for the op shop, responding to enquiries as needed
• Take photos and interview staff and customers to create online content with
• Update social media regularly with engaging posts that connect our community and encourage people to visit and buy from the op shop
• Proactively update the op shop's details on the Green Connect website
• Ensure the op shop has a strong online presence on op shop directories, and pursue opportunities to be cross-promoted by likeminded organisations
• Explore avenues for online sales, track progress and report back on what works and what doesn't

This would suit someone who:

• Wants to do something that gives back to the community (and helps to keep waste out of landfill)
• Is very confident with using social media and can respond to enquiries in a timely manner
• Wants to learn more about, practice or put to use current skills in online marketing, online sales and social media
