A children’s charity based in Bankstown, that provides free flight and hospital transfer services for seriously ill children from rural and regional NSW, is seeking a Volunteer Graphic Designer.

About the Role:

• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to undertake a variety of tasks relating to the conceptualisation and development of marketing and communication material, both print and digital, including:

  * Design of fundraising event flyers and promotional material * Design of marketing promotional collateral including brochures, prospectus and annual report * Design of artwork for social media and online promotion * Preparation and design of corporate material including letterhead, business cards and office stationery

• Time required is a maximum of one day per week, with a long term commitment preferred
• The role can be performed remotely and is flexible to suit your availability
• Volunteer induction and training provided

About You:

• Qualifications in graphic design or equivalent industry experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software
• Demonstrated experience in designing, producing print, digital and web marketing materials
• Sound knowledge of prepress and print across all marketing channels
• An active team player, but also able to work independently
• Willing to undergo a Working with Children Check
• Energetic and enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Responsible and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
• Creative thinker, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Tactful and discreet, especially when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
• Undertake all tasks in accordance with the Organisation’s values and mission
