Wesley Mission Queensland's WesleyCare Jindalee is currently seeking volunteers interested in assisting our residents with music, musical instrument activities or music therapy. Situated at Sinnamon Park, WesleyCare Jindalee provides care and support of up to 36 young to middle age adults living with high and complex care needs.

This role is suitable for people who are keen on or have an interest in music, playing an instrument or music therapy, have well developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and display a calm, caring and empathetic manner. It’s a great way to make a difference in the lives of people with a disability making friends, having fun and learning new skills.

Times are flexible and organised prior to the session with the participant and responsible staff member and we will schedule to fit in with your availability.

The apartments are opportunely located in easy walking distance to public transport, Jindalee Home Shopping Centre, restaurants, and the Jindalee Hotel. Free onsite parking is also available.

Volunteers are not involved in providing clinical or personal care. All costs involved in the activity are covered by Wesley Mission Queensland.
