Fundraising volunteers with HammondCare Foundation

HammondCare Australia
Logo for HammondCare Australia

At HammondCare we provide aged, dementia, palliative and rehabilitation care to vulnerable Australians who can be facing the hardest times life has to offer. The HammondCare Foundation was established to deliver various fundraising activities to help HammondCare grow and continue to improve the care we provide when and where it is needed most.

Each year in May, a tax appeal is launched to encourage our supporters to contribute towards the continued delivery of our programs and services. Our generous supporters are very important to us and thanking them is an essential part of our day to day work at the HammondCare Foundation. Over appeal time, our team can get very busy and are searching for a special person to volunteer some of their time to work with the team and help make these phone calls and thank our wonderful supporters. In addition, we need help to follow up with supporters to make sure they received our information and would like to contribute.

You'll love this role if you have

  • good communication skills, written and oral
  • the ability to follow a script and direct conversations towards donations (we can help with this!)
  • love working with a small, fun and energetic team and making a difference in the lives of vulnerable Australians.

As a HammondCare Foundation volunteer, you'll be making calls from our office in St Leonards (near the train station), during the week. Support is needed from late May through to early July and we are very open to days and hours that you are able to contribute, so please do get in touch if you are interested.

When you register your interest, please outline why you are interested in volunteering in a fundraising role with HammondCare Foundation.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
