Memberships and donations coordinator

We are looking for the ultimate people person who can build rapport with our existing membership community and develop relationships with new members and stakeholders.

Duties include contacting members, attending our events, liaising with our strategic partners, and sourcing industry feedback to grow our memberships and increase donations.

Your main responsibilities will include: • Meeting member recruitment and member retention targets • Developing suitable campaigns to engage new members • Maintaining accurate membership records • Sending and following up renewals • Representing the Nambour Community Centre at events • Assisting the team in providing marketing content for memberships and donations • Coordinating the 'Gifting Cupboard' and the donations of clothing/food

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: • Experience of working in a membership, not-for-profit or sales environment. • Demonstrated Business Development skills, including the ability to seek opportunities and engage with new stakeholders. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability liaise with a diverse range of people • High level organisational skills including the ability to prioritise, work to targets and multi-task. • Ability to work autonomously and within a team based working environment.

Nambour Community Centre is approved by Centrelink for those job seekers wishing to undertake voluntary work as an approved activity.

A Blue Card is not a requirement for this position however we are able to support the volunteer in applying for one if they choose to.
