If you love the rewarding feeling of giving back with others in your local community, The Salvation Army’s annual Red Shield Appeal is a meaningful and exciting opportunity to get involved.

We are looking for people from the Hervey Bay and Fraser Coast area to volunteer a few hours for the Red Shield Appeal.

We have a number of volunteer roles available, for every level of experience during this national campaign. The roles available on the Fraser Coast include (but not limited to): Administrative Support, Community Collector, BBQ Helper, and Doorknock Team Leader. Dates and shift details are dependent on the location and available activity. Most activities take place between 20th May to the 2nd of June 2019

What’s involved?

1. You can volunteer on your own or bring along a friend or two
2. Express interest below and you will be emailed details on how to register
3. Once registered, your local coordinator will be in touch to confirm details, answer questions and provide further information.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside others as you raise funds, making a real and positive difference to those experiencing homelessness, addiction and crisis through the support and services of The Salvation Army.
