The HR Manager's main role is to assist in the management and retention of our volunteers and employees.

Role responsibilities

  • Recommendation of, design, development and implementation of other HR initiatives or projects to enhance the experience for Mood Active staff and volunteers and outcomes for members. Coordinating other volunteers to implement these projects and initiatives
  • Encouraging  and developing a culture that supports the core purpose and values of the association
  • Maintain volunteer and employee register

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in volunteer coordination, management, HR
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Planning and organizing
  • Problem solving
  • Ability to work proactively and remotely - self-manage and achieve results
  • Ability to use apps and internet based technologies and systems including Gmail and Google suite
  • Uses exercise for own mental health
