The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Breast Cancer Network Australia.

Come along and support this wonderful event to be held on Saturday 4th May 2019 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Tasks and Responsibilities:

We are needing to recruit around 150 volunteers to collect donations and assist with merchandise sales. Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is calling on volunteers to help us fundraise at Pink Lady Match between Melbourne Football Club and Hawthorn Football Club on Saturday May 4.

The volunteer shifts available are either for a full day 11am – 6pm or shorter 4 hour shifts of 11am – 3pm or 2pm – 6pm. The morning or full day shift will be an 11am start and the afternoon shift a 2pm start.

The match time is 1.45pm.

TASKS will include:

• Merchandise stand set up / pack down
• Merchandise sales – static and roaming
• Pink Lady mini field planting (set up and / or pack up)
• Assist with the set up/ pack down of our giant pink inflatable lady’s
• Donation tin collections
• iPad donation collections
• Corporate function set up, raffle sales and pack down

Skills and Experience:

• Previous volunteering experience in fundraising
• Customer Service
• Approachable and friendly personality
• Able to work within in a team
• Enthusiastic and passionate about community based issues
• Important note – all volunteers must be over 16 years of age
