The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre.

The Surrey Hills Music Festival is a fantastic community event now in its tenth year.  Be a part of our steering committee, supporting an appointed Music Festival Director.  You will need to be available from early May through to December.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

As part of the steering committee, you will:

• Support an appointed Music Festival Director
• Meet monthly with the Director and the committee to track the progress of the festival organisation
• Identify areas in which you can assist by offering expertise, advice, taking responsibility for an aspect of operation or helping to coordinate volunteers
• The committee will start meeting in May until the Festival in November and then it will meet to debrief
