Social Exercise Group Coordinator
Mood Active AssociationThe social group is a really key part of what we do - it's free of charge and gives previous participants the chance to stay with us, and others the opportunity to see what we're about without committing to a full program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to membership requests in a timely manner and conducting appropriate screening to verify new members
- Respond to participant questions, comments and engagement through the Facebook group
- Manage risk through monitoring appropriateness of content and removing content and also members if necessary
- Develop an event schedule with a variety of exercise types
- Upload events to Facebook at minimum two weeks in advance
- Monitor weather and cancel events if required, and ensure attendees and volunteers are informed
- Work with the Marketing Consultant to promote events through other social media channels
Essential Experience & Skills
- Demonstrated Program or Project coordination experience also if you have had a Personal Trainer of Cert III or Cert IV in fitness
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience using Facebook, including closed groups, events and driving and maintaining engagement with members
- Planning and Organising skills
- Problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work proactively and remotely - self-manage and achieve results. Must have own computer and internet (operational phone will be provided)
- Ability to use app and internet based technologies and databases
- Uses exercise for own mental health
- Has used gmail, google drive and contacts
Preferred:
- Experience in health or fitness industry, mental health, disabilities, not for profits etc
