The social group is a really key part of what we do - it's free of charge and gives previous participants the chance to stay with us, and others the opportunity to see what we're about without committing to a full program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to membership requests in a timely manner and conducting appropriate screening to verify new members
• Respond to participant questions, comments and engagement through the Facebook group
• Manage risk through monitoring appropriateness of content and removing content and also members if necessary
• Develop an event schedule with a variety of exercise types
• Upload events to Facebook at minimum two weeks in advance
• Monitor weather and cancel events if required, and ensure attendees and volunteers are informed
• Work with the Marketing Consultant to promote events through other social media channels

Essential Experience & Skills

• Demonstrated Program or Project coordination experience also if you have had a Personal Trainer of Cert III or Cert IV in fitness
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience using Facebook, including closed groups, events and driving and maintaining engagement with members
• Planning and Organising skills
• Problem solving
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work proactively and remotely -  self-manage and achieve results. Must have own computer and internet (operational phone will be provided)
• Ability to use app and internet based technologies and databases
• Uses exercise for own mental health
• Has used gmail, google drive and contacts

Preferred:

• Experience in health or fitness industry, mental health, disabilities, not for profits etc
