Fred's Van is a good work of the St Vincent de Paul Society that provides a hot, nutritious meal to those experiencing homelessness, marginalised and people that require such assistance. There are 10 service sites across SA: Aldinga, Christie Downs, CBD, Semaphore, Kilburn, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Gawler, Port Pirie and Port Lincoln. Providing meals to over 40,000 people each year.

To assist in the kitchen & the van to provide a free evening meal to those seeking assistance.

Volunteers operate on a roster basis that is once every four weeks on a Thursday late afternoon/early evening. Tasks include meal preparation, loading of van, and service in Pioneer Park.
