HammondCare Australia
Logo for HammondCare Australia

Share your love of the arts by teaching a small group of residents who have dementia or may be frail and elderly. Show off your creative and artistic skills as you support people to create their own pieces in painting or drawing, or other artistic mediums that you're passionate about. We'll provide all the materials, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm, joy and the ability to work independently.

The time commitment is 1-2 hours each week.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, specialising in dementia. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of our residents. HammondCare is located at 15 Tiononee Road, Waratah.

Successful volunteer applicants will be required to complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for, along with the NDIS Worker Screening Check. You'll also need to provide proof of your flu vaccination - or be willing to have it prior to starting.

When you submit your enquiry, please include details on why you're interested in volunteering.
