We welcome anybody with a love of the environment and a general level of fitness who fancies getting their hands dirty and getting back to nature! You do not require any skills, training or experience, our qualified Team Leader will provide safety and task demonstrations on the day. All you need to do is simply wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, enclosed shoes and a wide brimmed hat. Bring along your lunch and a water bottle and we provide all the tools and safety equipment for the day.

South Perth contains the most extensive wetlands in the lower reaches of the Swan and Canning Rivers, with foreshore vegetation that is not found anywhere else along these rivers. The area provides habitat for over 74 species of land and water birds, including 14 significant bird species, 12 reptiles and 6 amphibian species. Join our volunteers in removing invasive plant species to improve the growth of native vegetation. Volunteers will also be planting new vegetation to stabilise the river banks and prevent erosion. We will be returning to each of these sites over the next three years, allowing our volunteer teams to see the impact and transformation of their efforts.
