Children's Cancer Institute is the only independent medical research institute in Australia dedicated to research into the causes, prevention, better treatments and ultimately a cure for childhood cancer.

Endure for a Cure is our signature 12-hour close-circuit cycling challenge to raise money for our research and get us one pedal closer to curing childhood cancer. Teams of six will take on the 4 km Gardner GP Circuit, competing to complete as many laps as possible in 12 hours and gain the highest amount of fundraising. We need your help to reach our goal of $340k!!

We are looking for volunteers who: • Are committed to our vision to save the lives of all children with cancer and eliminate their suffering • Are reliable and invested in supporting us at this event • Have an interest in large scale events • Have excellent customer service skills • Exhibit flexibility to assist with ad hoc tasks on the day • Enjoy meeting new people and collaborating as a team • Know how to have fun

Roles available: • CHEER SQUAD - critical job to keep our riders motivated and show them how much we love them! • GARAGE HOST - Responsible for checking up on the riders in the garages throughout the day. The riders who are not on the track will usually be resting in the garages • REGISTRATION DESK - assisting with on the day registrations for the main event and schools challenge. • DIRECTIONAL SUPPORT - responsible for safely directing riders to the registration area and to their garage in the morning
