Our Knowles Court Aged Care Community residents absolutely love there Wednesday afternoon bingo and are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to assist with the setting up and calling of numbers. Bingo is an activity that improves both cognitive and physical health as well as promoting happiness and excitement in a fun in a social atmosphere.

As part of the Wednesday afternoon Bingo program you can assist residents by:

• Providing support and reassurance while residents play the game

• Ensure residents remain actively engaged, encouraged and inspired

• Encourage independence, friendship and fun in a relaxed environment

This role is suitable for people who have well developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and display a calm and empathetic manner. Volunteering is a wonderful way to make a difference in the lives of our senior residents while making friends, having fun and learning new skills.

Bingo is held on a Wednesday afternoon between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. You can choose to volunteer on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

Knowles Court is home to 53 residents with lovely verandas and outdoor areas that provide the perfect opportunity to relax in the sun or share a cup of tea with family and friends. It is a welcoming and rewarding community to volunteer in.
