Keystone Central, Woodridge are looking for compassionate and organised volunteers to join their emergency relief team. This is a busy team who open a drop in space, once a week, for local the community members experiencing disability in need of emergency support. This is the perfect role for social work or human services students looking to put theory into practice or someone with good people skills and compassion interested in helping their local community.

Our service is funded to provide financial relief , so having volunteers means we can spend more time with each client working to assist them with other concerns which may be impacting on their finances, including rental advocacy, bill negotiation and referrals to other organisations.

This role is prefect for a human services or social work student looking to get more experience working with clients. If you what to make a difference this is the role for you!

The Emergency Relief team operate once a week on Friday mornings.   A minimum of 6 months commitment to the role  would be preferable. A Blue Card is a requirement of the role.
