The Red Shield Appeal is one of the easiest ways to help Australians doing it tough. When you volunteer, you help raise vital funds for the running of The Salvation Army’s vast network of social services. This includes providing shelter for the homeless, assisting families in crisis through practical support and financial counselling, and guiding people with addictions through to a clean, healthy lifestyle. We can't do this without your help!

The Salvos Red Shield Packing Team in Abbotsford is offering a great team-building activity for up to 12 people! Come on board for this satisfying and productive activity assisting in the packing and loading for the Salvos most important fundraising activity for the year - the Red Shield Appeal.

After a briefing on the work of The Salvation Army, your day will encompass light warehouse duties, sorting out stock and packing up in boxes and labelling. Get alongside your team members, working together for that satisfying feeling of seeing your accomplishments at the end of the day, knowing too that you have played a vital role in helping the Salvos help those in need.

Please wear close-toed, non-slip shoes, casual clothes. BYO lunch or purchase locally. Car parking available on site but public transport close by.
