For 30 years this Not for Profit has been supporting young people aged 12-24 living in and around the Cumberland LGA. Their vision statement, "a harmonious community where all young people belong and have the opportunity to fulfil their dreams," drives their work. They run a variety of programs and activities including a drop-in-centre, school holiday programs, music programs, psycho educational group work in schools, counselling and casework. They have recently commenced a youth led social enterprise, AYCafé. In 2018 they supported 1050 young people who were born in over 60 different countries, the Cumberland LGA being one of the most culturally diverse and disadvantaged communities in greater Sydney.
This organisation is looking for a skilled Music Instructors to work with young people aged 12-24. The role involves teaching young people how to play instruments (these instruments are on site) including:
- electric guitar
- acoustic guitar
This role will involves working individually and with small groups and you do not need to be skilled in all areas. The role would also suit a voice / singing coach.
