Nail care volunteer at Neringah Hospital, Wahroonga

HammondCare Australia
Logo for HammondCare Australia

At Neringah Hospital, HammondCare provides palliative care for end-of-life patients. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of our patients.

As a nail care volunteer at Neringah Hospital, you'll provide gentle hand massages and manicures. Patients love to be pampered and have a chat. Hand and nail therapy is a beautiful way to help patients feel valued and cared for while they are in the hospital. All nail polish and supplies are provided on a small trolley that you can take with you from room to room.

Ideally you’ll be available 1-2 hours a week or fortnightly. We welcome volunteers during the week as well as on the weekends. As this is a long-term commitment, we're looking for people who live locally to the Hospital, located at 4-12 Neringah Ave South Wahroonga and you must be aged over 18 years at the time of application.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for. We'll provide two days of training as well as ongoing support from our onsite Volunteer Coordinator.

When you submit your enquiry, please include details on why you're interested in volunteering.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
