ECHO Community Service is a not-for-profit supporting the elderly and those with a disability. We are community based and love having community focused volunteers join us. We are seeking a volunteer cook - you don't need formal training but do need to understand safe food handling and be able to prepare and cook a range of meals for our clients. We require cooks on Monday, and Wednesday - you can do 1 or 2 days a week. The days are usually 8.30-12.30. You'll work in conjunction with other volunteers, coordinators and dietitian to ensure we are meeting our clients requirements. You can bring with you your own ideas and inspiration. On average we prepare lunch and/or morning tea for 5 - 15 clients each day.
