BETTER EARTH VOLUNTEERS – LONDONDERRY

Liverpool Volunteer Resource Centre
Logo for Liverpool Volunteer Resource Centre

A Conservation Organisation is looking to welcome people who have a love of the outdoors and an interest in the environment, to get involved in a Volunteer capacity. Their Volunteers include students, professionals and retirees, in fact almost anybody can get involved. You don't need any prior skills or experience, just a reasonable level of health and fitness and a passion for a better, greener environment.

Londonderry and Agnes Banks have three Nature Reserves that contain some of the rarest plants in Western Sydney. If you are keen to be part of the ‘Save Our Species’ Project that is underway to help save them, then we are keen to have you on board.

The dates and times for this Project are:

  • Saturday 23rd February 2019, 8.30-11.30am (transport from Penrith station leaving at 8am)
  • Thursday 21st March 2019, 9am-2.30pm
  • Wednesday 22nd May 2019, 9am-2.30pm
  • Friday 14th June 2019, 9am-2.30pm

Complimentary transport is available from Penrith Railway Station, departing at 8.30am and returning at 3pm approximately.

If you would like to participate in a project that protects and enhances our environment and heritage, we would love to hear from you!

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
