Willoughby City Council

Do you speak a second language?  Willoughby City Council are looking for Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean & Japanese speakers to assist with data collection and conducting surveys at events in the Willoughby Local Government area.

You will be volunteering with a team of others to assist those who are not fluent in English with completing surveys and providing feedback on our community.  This is a crucial role allowing everyone who lives in or visits Willoughby to provide feedback about the area.  This ensures that data collected truly reflects the diversity of our community.

At some events (Chatswood Mall Market pop up event on 28 February & 1 March, and Harmony Day Festival on 21 March) volunteers will also be asked to get involved with the setting up and packing up.  Volunteers are asked to assist for 2-4 hours at an event on the following dates (you are welcome to volunteer for more than one event should you wish):

  • The Concourse (pop up event) - 25, 26, 27 February, 9:30am - 5:30pm
  • Chatswood Mall Market - 28 February, 1 March, 9:30am - 4:30pm
  • Chatswood Library - 7 March, 9:30am - 5:30pm
  • Harmony Day Festival - 21 March, 12pm - 7pm.

Volunteers will be on their feet whilst undertaking this role, so a a reasonable level of physical fitness is necessary for this role.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
