Share your smile, your time, Greek language and Greek orthodox religion for companionship during weekly friendly visits with an elderly man living in Doncaster East.

A mature male volunteer is requested for this role. He would like a visitor to build a friendship with, be of Greek orthodox religion and be able to chat about the past and living in Greece.

We ask volunteers to commit to weekly visits for at least 12 months, however this is an ongoing role.

Visits may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of this gentleman. Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and quarterly invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.
