Melbourne Coastrek 2019 is a major fundraising event for The Fred Hollows Foundation's sight restoring work on Friday 24th May. Volunteers are the face of the event, so a happy smile and words of encouragement are essential ingredients. Roles are performed on site at the start, checkpoints or the finish line, as well as route marshal roles anywhere along the 60km route - between Cape Schanck, Rye, Sorrento, Portsea and Point Nepean. Groups of friends or work mates are able to work together at one site if preferred. You'll have loads of fun in a beautiful location and help The Foundation to restore sight. The event hopes to raise over $1.8m to restore sight in over 25 countries and Australian Indigenous communities. If you can’t help out on Event Day – there are a couple of jobs that need to be done before event day such as, a letterbox drop to local residents & businesses letting them know the event is going to be on; and sorting gear at event HQ to make sure it gets to the correct location.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
