Foodbank SA believes the Food Hub model of emergency food distribution provides an essential relief to food insecurity for people experiencing financial hardship.

Food Hub Stock & Customer Service Assistant volunteers play a vital role in assisting us with unpacking large orders from our Depot, sorting product, stocking shelves and also assisting customers when needed. The Food Hub is a grocery-store style food-relief shop.

To be successful in this role you can turn your hand to everything, be able to handle manual handling, be able to stand for long periods and would be flexible to take on the Customer Service Volunteer role if needed. To do this a confidence using computers is helpful.

This role will suit people who understand the importance of client confidentiality and community services professional boundaries.
