Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a retired public servant 91 year old gentleman in an Aged Care Home, who loves Siamese cat, historical model ships, martial arts and played tennis until the age of 83. He would like a weekday visitor.

You will be  need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.

Good English communication skills required however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language very welcome.
