VNT-EVER Emergency Volunteers for Emergency Response Program is proudly supported by the NT Disaster Resilience Emergency Volunteer Fund. Our role at Volunteering NT is to help volunteers meet essential criteria that is required from organisations working in the field at the time of a disaster. Volunteering NT will guide you through the registration process, so that you have the skills and knowledge to help others at a time of an emergency in our community.

If you are over the age of 18 years, are a resident in Northern Territory and are committed to staying long-term (at least 2 years) you could be the right person for the role.

Imagine at the time of a disaster, all your family are safe and you have some spare time, we could ask you to go and help at a shelter, help remove debris, help process people through areas, distribution of food, water or clothing, a number of roles that would suit your personal skills could be available.
