The key requirement of the role is to be a friendly voice at the end of the telephone and provide social support to our participants. Training and guidelines will be provided. A background in Counselling or Social Work would be ideal but is not essential.

We need people with a lot of patience, great communication skills and a willingness to listen.

This role gives volunteers the chance to really make a difference to people who feel isolated and alone.
