BUMP is a mentoring program designed to provide a nurturing pathway for young mums. Volunteers undertake mentor training, obtain a working with children check and national police check, and are then matched with a young mum in the Western suburbs of Adelaide. As a mentor, you will need to be a good listener, a positive role model and a sounding board for ideas and aspirations. You will attend fun workshops with your mentee. Plenty of support is provided by a qualified counsellor. This is a fabulous opportunity to make a real difference, have lots of fun and meet some amazing people. Mentoring is on Thursdays 10am to 12pm at The Parks Library, Angle Park every week throughout school terms 2 & 3 this year.
