Our 12-week volunteer program is designed to facilitate learning within a collaborative office environment, as well as offer practical experience working on marketing events. The volunteer program also provides valuable opportunities for students / graduates to network with professionals in Sydney’s thriving startup ecosystem.

The Marketing + Admin Volunteer will learn skills required to coordinate, with supervision from the Coordinator, the social media channels and external promotion of The Studio, its facilities & events relevant to the startup community and creative sector. You will also undertake a variety of practical daily activities directly contributing to the production and operational requirements of The Studio, reporting to the Community & Events Coordinator.

The role is suited to an enthusiastic and energetic person who is interested in jumping into a fast-paced environment, and willing to do what it takes in order to get the job done. This position is suited to someone with excellent written skills, effective and confident communications skills, and administrative skills in doing documentations, scheduling, booking, updating and monitoring. Attention to detail is essential.

Skills Required: A basic understanding of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter Experience using Microsoft Office and/or G Suite (Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets)

** Desirable Skills: ** Experience using Canva

Hours: 8am - 4pm OR 9am - 5pm, min 2 days per week Closing date: Ongoing availability
