Do you want to make a difference in a young person’s life? Are you willing to commit to 8-2 structured one hour sessions? The IMVC is now recruiting new Mentors to assist with our VCAL Youth2Industry program located in South Melbourne.

Who can apply The IMVC is looking for Mentor volunteers who meet the following criteria:

  • Can commit to eight, two hour session from 6 June to 8 August 2019
  • Is over 25 years old
  • Has industry experience and an understanding of developing employable skills
  • Has a willingness to share expertise and experiences

Mentors may be retired or currently employed, preferably with a background in a skill shortage area. The IMVC will provide Mentors with ongoing support and supervision.

SCREENING PROCESS Applicants must complete all stages of the screening process to be considered for participation. The stages of the screening process include:

  1. Complete and submit an application form
  2. Attend an interview
  3. Provide your Resume and two Referees
  4. Provide or undergo a National Police Check and Working with Children’s Check. (Any costs incurred will be covered by the IMVC)
