Volunteer Stock Coordinator

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sister Entrepreneurs with the inventory process by teaching them to label and keep track of their own stock
  • Inventory management including:
    • adding new products to the inventory management system (Cin7)
    • pushing products to our various sales channels
    • preparing barcodes
    • ensuring inventory is kept up to date
    • processing online orders (South Yarra)

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Stock/inventory management
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Basic understanding of invoicing and payments
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly communicating with people of CALD backgrounds

Compulsory requirements:

  • Working with Children Check and/or Police Check (if you do not have one, you can apply for one free of cost)
  • Has own laptop
  • Strong computer skills (experience with inventory systems beneficial)
  • Available sometime in 2019 for 2 or 3 days per week for 4-6 months

If you wish to do an internship with us, a minimum of 200 hours will be required. You will work with programs such as Cin7 and WooCommerce. You will also get to work with women with migrant, asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds, as well as a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. We are a close knit community where you can support new Australian women and build your skills at the same time.
