At EdConnect we are training and mobilising an army of volunteers, to provide support in schools where they need it most.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help once or twice a week at a local school either on a Wednesday afternoon or anytime on a Thursday during school hours. In this role you will be working closely with a small group of students on the design and execution of their landscape plan. Tasks may include help with plant selection and planting and carpentry skills for construction of items for the garden and there is also the opportunity for some decorative painting. Whether you have all of these skills or just one, we would like to hear from you.  What all our volunteers do need to have is a genuine passion for their craft and a desire to help young people succeed.

Schools are often overburdened, under resourced and don't have the support or assistance they need. They rely heavily on the generosity of their local community members so that the children attending have a safe and congenial learning environment. As the saying goes "It takes a village to raise a child", be part of your village.

Many of our current volunteers find this program personally rewarding as they help students thrive. The impact volunteers can make on a young person’s life goes well beyond their school years. This is an opportunity to not only help, shape, and support young people and schools, it may even enrich a volunteers life as well.

We’ve recruited and trained thousands of volunteers who have helped many more thousands of young people throughout Australia. At any one time we have over 1,000 volunteers active in schools in over 245 schools across the country.
