About the Coolibah Centre: The Coolibah Centre is a day centre that encourages independence and good living for its members in a caring and home-like environment. We help our members to be healthy and active and to enjoy life to the full in a friendly and relaxing environment.

We encourage and help members to pursue their interests and passions, both at our centre and out in the community. The Coolibah Centre arranges regular group excursions in our bus to restaurants, shops, the beach, festivals and other attractions.

We are currently seeking a reliable and empathetic individual with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in working with older people to assist with sewing activities.  This volunteer role will involve assisting members to create and work on sewing and textile projects.

The Brotherhood’s work is supported by the efforts of volunteers who wish to help people build a better life for themselves, their families and their community.  Without volunteer contribution, the crucial work of the Brotherhood would not be possible.
