Samarinda provides a wonderful range of activities and care for local Ashburton residents, supporting people in their homes, through Social Support and Respite and within our Residential Lodge. We are welcoming volunteers across many of our programs: Meals on Wheels, Social Support, The Ashy Op Shop, Gardening Support, Residential Lodge, Administration and Special projects.

As we are ever growing we have positions available for volunteers in the following areas: Drivers, Melas on Wheels deliveries, Companions, Kitchen Support, Op Shop support, Administration projects, Gardeners and Activity support.

We are seeking people who are keen to partner with us in making a positive difference for our local Ashburton/Glen Iris older community and those living with dementia and memory loss. So if you have 2 hours or 15 hours a week or month to spare and you would like to use that time for a real purpose then please contact us for an interview.
