Participants sought for a clinical trial of an exciting new treatment for depression
Alfred HealthAlfred Health and Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Center (MAPrc) are conducting an interventional research study involving the use of Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) as a new treatment for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). To participate in the study you must be at least 18 years old, have a diagnosis of MDD without psychosis, and have been stable on depression medication for at least 4 weeks. Participants will be required to attend weekly treatment sessions at Alfred Hospital for 4 weeks, and to complete questionnaires during treatment and at 1 month after treatment. Each interview will last 30-60 minutes.
