Key tasks of the Volunteer Musician include:  Regularly attending a Catch Music session and assisting as required – e.g. setting up and packing away PA and other music equipment.  Contributing musically to the sessions by playing their instrument of choice (including voice)  Helping new members feel welcomed and comfortable in the group.  Supporting individual participants to interact meaningfully in the session – e.g. assisting a participant to play chords on a guitar or keep in time on a percussion instrument.  Learning about Catch Music and its ethos of inclusion.

The Volunteer Musician is directed and supported by the session’s Music Facilitator, with additional support available through the Catch Music Coordinator.
