We are seeking a dedicated Fundraising Manager preferably with previous strategic fundraising expertise.
Reporting to the Executive Committee, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the annual Fundraising Strategy and Action Plan. This role is vital to our Fundraising team and serves to empower the team ensuring all objectives, targets and overall annual budget is realized. You will be responsible for the management and growth of our relationships with existing partners as well as for identifying, securing and fostering financial and in-kind support from new corporate partners, government, not-for-profits, major donors and local supporters. The ideal candidate will have: High level of customer service and communications skills Preferably Minimum 3 years’ fundraising and partnership experience in the not-for-profit sector Demonstrated experience in fundraising strategy creation and implementation preferred but not essential The ability to coach, manage and mentor a team, which you will help grow Demonstrated hands-on experience and proven ability to grow and develop long term and long-lasting relationships with donors Demonstrated strong organisational skills and abilities Experience in communicating in a range of settings to a wide variety of people Think outside the square for different ways to raise funds.
