Seeking an eager final year student or graduate, who is hungry to make a BIG IMPACT for a not-for-profit organisation, Clubs WA.

This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable writing, leadership, marketing and production experience, you will be responsible for planning, developing, writing and designing the monthly Clubs WA newsletter/journals/press releases.

Working with the team you will be given invaluable responsibility to decide the content, layout and creative direction of our newsletter. As a final year student or graduate of Journalism, Public Relations or Communications degree, you will love to write creative stories, and be comfortable speaking to club members and industry professionals to use their insights for your articles.

The volunteer will meet weekly to workshop potential story ideas, identify potential talent to interview for stories and liaise with the Graphics Design volunteer to develop the layout. You will also meet with the Marketing Coordinator to discuss stories, keep them updated on the work in progress, and identify current and potential advertisers. The role is located at our office in Cockburn Central.

This is a 6-month opportunity to work alongside a great team, learn about WA’s club industry and gain invaluable experience to add to your CV.

The voluntarily role is 2 days per week from 9am – 4pm.
