The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Avalon Centre.

We’re opening up invitations for professional volunteers to interview to be part of our board and offer an opportunity to shape our future. We’re looking for someone to help with the financial side of our volunteer-based centre, as well as someone to be a board member.

Skills and Experience:

• Accounting and auditing skills
• High level experience in the development and delivery of programs
• Your role will make a significant contribution to the longevity and success of our organisation, so we can keep making a difference.
• Corporate, business and/or entrepreneurial skills
• Building strategic, high level partnerships
• Financial management, governance and/or legal skills
• Fundraising from major donors, companies, government, trusts and foundations
