A typical session lasts 3 hours and will involve a warm up activity and a cool down after your session. You be guided in practical conservation and gardening work such as planting and potting, collecting seeds, watering, harvesting food, mulching and much more. We encourage you to come along once a week to feel the full benefits of the program. There are other locations on other days..
There are opportunities to sit down, etc., sometimes, to make it easier for some tasks, but the program does not accommodate wheel chairs. Free pick up and drop of at a central location. Basic English is required.
Benefits: By immersing yourself in nature, you can take advantage of the proven benefits to mental and physical well being. Green Gym will provide you with a great opportunity to learn new skills, help improve the environment, meet new people, do something meaningful, all the while being active.
