QSA is a not for profit self help organisation situated in Chermside on Brisbane's Northside. Our key purpose is to assist the wellbeing of people living with a stoma as a result of major surgery. One of our main support activities is to provide essential ostomy appliances to people who need them, which are necessary for them to maintain a normal quality of life.

We are open 4 days per week during school hours and have adult voluntary workers of all ages. Our volunteer packers will require a reasonable level of fitness. We provide all volunteers with a nominal daily allowance to assist with their cost of travelling to and from the association to carry out volunteer activities (paid quarterly) as allowed under ATO rules.

These roles would particularly suit semi retired persons or those returning to the workforce after a period of absence. They are also suitable for parents with school aged children.
