Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship. We have an elderly gentlemen who lives in his own home in POINT COOK who would benefit from the friendship of a MATURE MALE VISITOR who speaks either English or Italian. He enjoys chatting, playing cards, watching the TV or doing some gardening. You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to at least fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.
