The Program: The Geraldton Soup Patrol services provide a free meal to people who are homeless, socially disadvantaged, or on very low incomes.
The Opportunity: Undertake volunteer work as a group or meet other likeminded volunteers through visiting locations where a free meal is provided to people who are homeless or disadvantaged. Engage with people of diverse backgrounds, develop communication skills, empathy and understanding for others who are experiencing challenges with housing and financial stability.
The Impact: Develop a deeper sense of empathy and compassion, improve team work and provide an essential service for people in crisis situations.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
