An organisation supporting members of the community members suffering from epilepsy requires a truck jockey for about 15 hours a week, usually on a Wednesday. The truck is garaged at Blackburn but travels mostly between Parkdale, Beaumaris and Kensington. The location of the Truck Jockey is flexible. It is preferably based in Blackburn but can be in Parkdale. If the volunteer can get to our Blackburn Op Shop, the start time is about 9:30am. If you can get to our Parkdale Op Shop, the start time is approx 10.30am. Depending on how many purchased items there are to be delivered or donation collections booked on any given Wednesday (or other day/s), the drop off time at Parkdale would be 3.00 pm and at Blackburn around 4.00 pm. Volunteering with this organisation is a Centrelink approved activity, therefore we can easily accommodate someone for 15 hours per week. Long term commitment (eg. minimum six months) is preferred and 100 points of ID is required. All volunteers must sign Code of Conduct, OHS Manual, and abide by OHS and other procedures.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
